Calling all women who struggle with gut health, emotional eating and weight loss

My name is Leanne Ward, and I know what it’s like to be busy and stressed out, utterly confused by all the health messages and feel like you fail every diet that you try.

Twelve years ago, I was that girl too. I couldn’t understand why as a health professional with so much knowledge, I still couldn’t get my weight, my gut or my cravings under control. I had no confidence, I dieted all week long and by the weekend, I simply had no willpower left to say no. On top of this, my gut symptoms were so bad that some days, I couldn’t even leave the house!

I stayed like this for far too long until one day I woke up and realised enough was enough. Life was passing me by and I was far from happy!

I took my health into my own hands, became an Accredited Practicing Dietitian and combined my expertise with my own experience to develop my signature LEAN GUT MIND METHOD™ program to overcome my emotional eating, heal my damaged gut and find peace with food and my body. I now have complete control around food instead of letting food control me.

Today, having perfected the LEAN GUT MIND METHOD™ program (over the course of my decade of clinical dietetic experience), I have trained a team of dietitians to coach women all over the world using the LEAN GUT MIND METHOD™ to help them gain the confidence to take back control of their health.

IS THIS YOU?

Career Driven Women and/or ‘Busy Boss Babe’

You have a demanding job (or jobs!), and have very little time for messing around, need to know exactly what to do on a daily basis to be successful, and want someone to hold you accountable to your highest self.

You have a high stress job that allows for little flexibility so your health and lifestyle habits need to easily mould to your working conditions but be personalised enough to get you the long term results you’ve always dreamt of.

Don’t worry girl, the LGMM Team have got you

What Makes LGMM different

Firstly, all LEAN GUT MIND METHOD™ coaches are Accredited Practising Dietitians.

Anyone can call themselves a nutritionist. But only people holding a university level qualification in dietetics can call themselves a dietitian. There’s a big difference.

But that’s just the start. Each LGMM Coach has achieved so much more than their dietetic qualifications. Whether it be additional training or specialisation, other qualifications (like personal training certifications) or clinical practice in hospitals, each LGMM Coach brings their own unique expertise.

For example, I have multiple university degrees, a masters degree, post graduate qualifications and over a decade of specialised clinical dietetic and nutrition experience in large QLD hospitals.

I now use these qualifications and this experience to help women bypass all the BS (unqualified) online nutrition “advice” and find success long term with their health. This aspiration is what has shaped the LGMM team.

My LGMM Coaches and I apply the latest scientific evidence in health and nutrition and translate that into holistic and sustainable behaviour change to fit your busy lifestyle and achieve success long term.

Secondly, despite being experts, we still have had our personal struggles. We know what it’s like to start off a diet motivated and confident but fall back into bad habits when your busy stressful life gets the better of you.

We know the guilt you start to feel. You might occasionally get a random burst of motivation to try something again, but sadly, it never lasts. Eventually you fail again.

Don’t worry babe, you are not alone! We’ve been through it and we’ve trained hundreds of women to conquer it.

The truth is, I was never able to be successful with my health goals until I got support and maybe you are realising the same thing? When you have no willpower left at the end of the day, when you are frustrated and angry at yourself for failing again, perhaps you need someone else in your corner? Someone who’s been through exactly what you have? What makes the LGMM team different, is that we truly know where you are coming from and have the qualifications and experience to help you overcome this once and for all.

SO... HOW DOES LGMM WORK?

Your first week of working with a LGMM Coach is very collaborative. We will start off by getting to know each other, what’s worked, what hasn’t and why you NEED to change. We will set goals, expectations and we will ask your permission to hold you accountable to your highest self (this is where the magic truly happens).

After getting to know you, your LGMM Coach will create a nutrition plan just for you based on the foods you love that will help you thrive, leave you feeling satisfied and minimise any gut symptoms. This plan will still include your SOUL FOODS (a signature concept developed by me) which will allow you to conquer your emotional eating once and for all. Your LGMM Coach will provide you with a new, targeted and personalised nutrition plan every 2 weeks.

Each and every week of the program, you will have one on one private coaching sessions with your LGMM Coach to support you in achieving your goals. Of course, you will have regular chat access to your LGMM Coach outside of your calls so they can support you to systematically work through your health and gut issues to truly overcome them once and for all.

MY SIGNATURE LEAN GUT MIND METHOD™

Step 1: Baseline lifestyle audit

Baseline of where your health and lifestyle is currently at and some targeted goal setting so we know exactly where you need to be in 12 weeks time (plus beyond). Your LGMM Coach will create a targeted (but flexible) nutrition plan just for you and assist you to realign your mindset for nothing but success.

Step 2: Free yourself from emotional eating

Your LGMM Coach will help you find the root cause of why you eat emotionally, for stress or boredom reasons. We help you discover your high sacrifice foods which allows you to remove all restriction from your eating habits by programming in your personal SOUL FOODS regularly. Cravings and a loss of control around food will no longer rule your life!

Step 3: Heal your gut holistically

Your LGMM Coach will use targeted whole foods and increase specific fibre and fluids to improve your gut symptoms. Together we identify food triggers and learn to minimise the load of the triggers in your diet without cutting out entire food groups or restricting.

Step 4: Level up and LEAN out your life

Here your LGMM Coach will hold you accountable to your highest self. We will coach you to manage your stress, gain confidence and quit self sabotaging your own progress. Dieting and falling off the wagon will be a thing of the past! Being LEAN will LAST!

Step 5: Maintaining the LEAN GUT MIND METHOD™

This step focused on tying everything together so you can graduate from the LEAN GUT MIND METHOD™ and stay LEAN for LIFE!

INTRODUCING MY AMAZING CO-COACHES

RenAe

Senior nutritionist & dietitian

Qualifications: Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics (University of Wollongong), Masters of Public Health.

About Renae: Renae has had over 13 experience years working as a dietitian and health coach in a range of areas. After working as a clinical dietitian for a number of years, and seeing first hand the impact that unhealthy lifestyles can have on a person’s health, Renae decided she wanted to educate and support people to make positive changes to live a healthier lifestyle.

Despite being a health professional with so much knowledge about food and nutrition, there was a time when Renae struggled to find the right balance between diet and exercise and had an “all or nothing” approach to food. Renae’s own health and wellness journey led her to want to help others have a better relationship with food and their body image. She sympathises with her client’s struggles. Renae is passionate about helping her clients make holistic lifestyle changes, to feel empowered in their choices and have a healthy relationship with food and exercise.

Outside of work, Renae loves cooking for her family and creating healthy recipes, which she shares on her Instagram page @the_wholesome_nutritionist. She also enjoys mum life getting outdoors for a walk with two young children and four legged friend as well as going for long runs along the beautiful Illawarra coast.
